Proven A.I. genetics are combined with our total commitment to complete AHIR progeny weight data, a more than decade old carcass ultrasound program, and comparison using full & proper contemporary groups. As a result our bulls offer as competitive and predictable package of Angus genetics…

Females
The registered cow herd at Highview Angus Ranch represents a total commitment to proven A.I. sires with the majority of maternal pedigrees tracing to all A.I. use back into the early 1960’s. Nearly all the foundation lines of Highview Angus females originated from either Gardiner Angus Ranch in Kansas or Sitz Angus in Montana.

Jeff Parker
Raised on the family ranch, the young Parker kids held a very active role irrigating, running equipment, heat detecting, and later even breeding cows. Jeff grew up showing cattle in 4-H, FFA. A real opportunity was granted when Jeff was able to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He was active in the AGR Fraternity and was a member of their nationally competitive Livestock Judging Team.
The Family
Agriculture and especially cattle have always been a big part of our family’s history. In the late 1800’s Jeff’s Great Grandfather Prentiss Fred “Jack” Parker came west on a cattle drive to Montana when he was only about twelve years old. Jack later worked as a cowboy around the Great Falls, Montana area even spending a winter in a line shack…
